Kelleytown offers a wide range of musical opportunities for your whole family because music is an important part of worship.  Under the direction of Lin Kirkman, our music ministry seeks to glorify God and encourage the saved, and magnify the salvation message of Jesus Christ in our services.  All interested church members are encouraged to participate.  The following are opportunities for you to use the talents God has given you here at Kelleytown.
 

Vocal Music

• Preschooolers & Children

  Graded preschool and children's choirs rehearse and learn new songs each week as listed on our homepage.  The Music Makers (3K-5K) practice each Wednesday at 6:15 pm while our Young Musicians (1-5 grade) practice Sundays at 4:45 pm.  Both choirs take part in worship services regularly with the Young Musicians perfoming a musical each Spring.

• Praise Team

The Adult Praise Team leads us in worship on Sunday mornings along with the Sanctuary Choir.  The Praise Team is open to all interested adult church members who have a relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who are called to lead our congregation in worship.  The Adult Praise Team rehearses every Wednesday evening at 6:30 in the music suite. 

• Sanctuary Choir

  The Sanctuary Choir is open to all interested adult church members who have a relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who are called to lead our congregation in worship. The Sanctuary Choir rehearses every Wednesday evening at 7:00 in the music suite located behind the sanctuary.  

 Instrumental Music

• Adult Praise Band

  The Adult Praise Band is open to all church members who have a passion to use their instrumental talents in leading corporate worship.  The Adult Praise Band rehearses Sundays at 8:00 am and 5:30 pm. 

• Adult Handbells

  Kelleytown's handbell choir rehearses every Sunday afternoon at 5:00.  The Handbells take part in worship periodically but especially during Easter and Christmas.

• Youth Praise Band

  The Youth Praise Band rehearses every Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm in the Youth Room and is open to youth grades 6-12.  The Youth Praise Band helps lead worship periodically in the sanctuary and on Sunday nights and Wednesday nights in the youth room.
