In addition to having served as summer camp pastor of our states music camp, Rod has served as a conference speaker to our state conventions deacon leadership retreat.  He is a level four certified church consultant and has worked with the state convention in helping churches determine their church health.

Rod's passion is to effectively communicate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with the goal of seeing individuals place their trust in Jesus for their salvation.  Rod enjoys working outside, reading, riding a Harley (when he has one!), golf (his favorite course being Augusta National), all things college football, and spending time with his family.  He and Tina look forward to raising their family in Hartsville and enjoy immensely serving the spiritual tribe at KBC.

Children's Director

Lanie Tiller

I have lived right here in the beautiful community of Kelleytown my entire life. I married my high school sweetheart Phillip in 2006. We joined KBC in May of 2007 and this church immediately became my family. The Lord blessed us with two rambunctious boys, Boyd and Cooper. My boys consider this their second home and have worn paths running down the hallways of this church.

I love children and have spent the last 10 years as a preschool teacher. In 2017, I felt the Lord call me into seminary and I am currently completing a degree in Children’s Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. I am excited and honored to be serving the children and their families here at Kelleytown Baptist Church. To God alone be the Glory!!

Kindergarten Director

Tammy Johnson

The Lord placed the call of serving children on my life many years ago and I am so very thankful for that. I have been teaching preschool for 20 years. My desire is that children will grow to love the Lord and learn academics and fun things along the way. I am married and have two beautiful teenagers. God has blessed me tremendously with a wonderful and loving family. We are also thankful to be a part of such a wonderful church family.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation-whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life-of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

I have called Hartsville “home” my entire life.   I have been married to my best friend, Stewart, for almost ten years.  The Lord has blessed us with three healthy, beautiful babies named  Laney Rae, Tate & Peyton.  We are members of Lakeview Baptist Church and I am so grateful to be able to expand my church family to the members of Kelleytown also!  I look forward to serving the Lord through my new role as the Ministry Assistant at Kelleytown.
