Rod Elliott - Senior Pastor

Pastor Rod is a native of Graniteville, South Carolina, and has served as senior pastor of KBC since October 2006.  He has been happily married since 1993 to his high school sweetheart Tina, and is the proud father of three sons and a most perfect little girl!

He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, in the area of church growth and evangelism.  He also is a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina, earning a Master of Divinity degree with languages.  Prior to that he also received a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from USC-Aiken with a major in Political Science and a minor in History.  He has served churches in both South and North Carolina.   

Rod's passion is to effectively communicate the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with the goal of seeing individuals place their trust in Jesus for their salvation.  Rod enjoys working outside, reading, riding, golf (his favorite course being Augusta National), all things college football, and spending time with his family.  He and Tina look forward to raising their family in Hartsville and enjoy immensely serving the spiritual tribe at KBC.

Lin Kirkman - Minister of Music/Senior Adults

Lin is a native of Columbia, SC and has served KBC since April 2000.  He is a 1982 graduate of Charleston Southern University and a 1986 graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  Lin has served churches in Texas and South Carolina.  

He is married to Yvonne, a school teacher, and they have two children, Mandy and Josh.  He enjoys working in the yard, playing the piano, reading, and playing video games.  He finds fulfillment in leading people in worship and building the body of Christ through music.

Daniel Henderson - Youth Minister

Daniel was born and raised in southern West Virginia until leaving the Mountanieer state in 1992 for South Carolina.  He is a 1995 graduate of McBee High School and a 2001 graduate of North Greenville Unversity.  He has an Associate & Bachlor of Science degree and is currently enrolled in Liberty University pursuing a Master in Christian Ministry degree.  He has been serving as our Minister to Students since July 2004.  Before coming to Kelleytown he served three churches in the Greenville and Anderson area.  

Since 2001, he has been married to the former Christa Mullis and they have two beautiful daughters Triniti and Lili.  Daniel desires to see students grow spiritually and influence their peers for Jesus.  Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, golf, basketball (all sports), traveling, and spending time with the youth of KBC.  

Lori Shaw - Children's Director

Lori is a native of Hartsville and grew up attending Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She became a member of Kelleytown after marrying Billy (Puddin) Shaw in 1992. She is a graduate of Hartsville High School and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Francis Marion University in Florence, SC.  Lori has been a stay-at-home mom to two daughters and one son since 1999.  Lori has worked as VBS Director, AWANA Cubbies' leader, and has taught SS  for preschoolers and adults.  She has been serving KBC as our Children's Director since 2007.

Diane Jones - Ministry Assistant

Diane became our Ministry Assistant March 27, 2012.  She was raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and calls Texas home; although she has lived in many places.   She has a Bachelor's of Education from Hardin-Simmons University and has been an elementary or middle school teacher for 23 years.  She moved to Darlington in March of 2011.  Her husband, Mark, is pastor of First Baptist Church Darlington and Diane is active in the choir and teaches an adult couple’s Bible study class. She has a 22 year old son attending Oklahoma State University and a daughter who graduated from OSU living in Dallas, Texas.

Mary Cassady - Kindergarten Director

Mary has faithfully served in our Kindergarten Ministry for several years.  She began as a teacher and is now one of our 4K teachers as well as Director.  Mary resides in Hartsville and has three grown daughters.  She is an active member of Clyde Church of God.
